SLED for academia world-wide

We are very pleased to announce a special SLED promotion for academic sites world-wide.

Academic sites who are members of the TTP will be able to receive free of charge:

1. 100 SLED licenses for use within their academic institution.
2. An unlimited user SLED license for distribution to their students, for the use of the students on their own personal machines.
3. A getting started installation manual for SLED for free distribution to staff and students.

The person to sign up for this offer on behalf of the academic institution will be the point of contact who will receive the software. Manual checks will be made to ensure that only one set of licenses are distributed per institution. Multiple copies will be possible for institutions with distinctly separate computing services departments in remote campuses. If in doubt complete the application process and we will review the situation in the background.

To sign up for the offer follow the two stage process below:

1. Check that you are a member of the TTP. If you are not go to www.novell.com/ttp to sign up. Membership of the TTP is free of charge but only open to people who work in academic institutions. Training companies and other for-profit organisations are rarely considered to be academic in this sense. So long as you have submitted your application to become a member of the TTP you do not need to wait for this to be accepted before completing the next stage.
2. Complete the offer registration form on the website.

Processing of the order for the software will take approximately 48 hours. Once this has been completed you will receive emails from the Novell Customer Centre and from the Peter Atkins with a copy of your getting started installation manual.
